Terms of service

The service

MindHaOS is a personal organisation app. The trial without an account and the app with an account are free. The recurring features (AI credits, sync and the cloud) are taken out as a subscription, here on the web or inside the app; every version is a client of that same account.

Local mode

With your account, all the app’s offline features are free to use. Data is stored on your device, and backing it up is your responsibility (Settings → Data backup).

Subscription and price

• Monthly subscription with automatic renewal in three tiers: Tier 1, USD 7 a month; Tier 2, USD 14; Tier 3, USD 20 (or the equivalent in your currency).
• Includes 700, 1400 or 2100 AI credits a month depending on the tier, sync across devices and space in your cloud: 10, 30 or 100 GB. Unused monthly credits do not roll over to the next month.
• Credits per operation: 1 for a text reply, 4 for a long plan, 3 for an image (10 at high quality) and 10 for a 3D model. The rate may be adjusted if the AI providers’ costs change; the current price is shown in the app before every request.
• You can upgrade or downgrade whenever you like; the change is prorated.
• Fair-use limit: credits cover normal AI usage. If in one month the real cost of your requests greatly exceeds the value of the credits consumed, AI is paused until the limit resets the following month.
• Payments are processed by RevenueCat and Stripe.

Cancellation

You can cancel whenever you like from “Manage subscription” in your account; you keep the plan until the end of the paid period. After that, the app keeps working on your devices in local mode, without monthly credits, sync or the cloud, and you can renew whenever you like. Your cloud files stay read-only for 90 days so you can download them; after that they are deleted from our servers.

Your data

Your data is yours. The app is local-first: everything lives on your device first. The detail of what we store and how to delete it is in the privacy policy.

Files you keep in the cloud

You are responsible for the files you upload to your cloud and must have the right to store them. Hosting illegal content, content that infringes third-party rights or content that breaks the community rules is not allowed; we may remove it and suspend the account. The cloud is a storage service, not a guaranteed backup: keep a copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. If you share a file with a link, you are responsible for who you send it to; the link expires on its own and we remove any that are reported to us.

Reasonable use

The AI credit allowance is for a personal account. Reselling the service, sharing the account at scale or automating AI consumption outside the app are not allowed.

Community rules

MindHaOS lets you write to your contacts, share content from your rooms, visit other houses and work in shared spaces. To use these features you agree to these rules:

• Do not send harassment, threats, hate or discrimination, sexual content, violence, spam, scams or anything illegal.
• We do not tolerate abusive content. From the app you can report any message, contact or member of a space, and block anyone you want.
• We review every report within 24 hours: we remove content that breaks these rules and ban whoever sent it from the service.
• You are responsible for what you send and share. You can also tell us by email (see Contact).

Changes to the service

We may update the app and these terms; price changes are announced in advance and are never applied retroactively to a period already paid for.
